We’re excited to provide our students access to tools and lessons around investing and wealth building through a six-month investment club competition, hosted by the BASE Chicago. The competition is available to students in middle and high school, who are provided test accounts with simulated money—but real stocks. Students attend virtual classes where they learn the fundamentals of investing from experts, and then apply these lessons to build their own portfolio.

The top ten students, from across the country, with the highest portfolio values receive cash prizes deposited into an account for them to personally invest.

The learning portion of the program is open and available to all ages (including adults) who register at: https://app.personalfinancelab.com/members/register. Registrants who are not competing in the competition must put “test” before their username to register successfully.
